Adapter D-Link DHP-500AV PowerLine uses the electrical wiring for extension of the existing network. All electrical outlet connected to the same electrical system thus turns into a potential network connection. In the box you will find an adapter that lets you expand your existing PowerLine network.
The installation is very simple, it consists of simply inserting the adapter into an electrical outlet and the computer connection using a network cable. Pressing a special button to configure an encryption key for securing network access. Thus created connection can transfer data at speeds up to 500 Mb / s. Additionally, the adapter supports Quality of Service, which enables high-quality IP telephony, for example, or smooth streaming HD video.
