Eco mode is a feature of the baby monitor that aims to save energy and extend battery life. When activated, the baby monitor switches to power saving mode where power consumption decreases if no sound is detected from the baby's room. As soon as it detects a sound (e.g. a baby crying), it will return to normal mode and parents will be notified. Eco mode is useful for long-term monitoring of the baby with minimal impact on battery life.
