A printing technique in which the dye is converted to a gas by heat and binds to the polymer fibres, it achieves the best results on 100% polyester or higher PES blends. The resulting colours are very rich, wash-resistant and the pattern is not noticeable to the touch. Sublimation is not permanent on pure cotton without special treatment, so choose other printing methods for natural materials. Typical uses of this technique are photo prints and modern graphics on microfiber blankets and bedspreads.
