The Action Camera Captures Breathtaking Footage

The DJI Osmo 360 can capture superb 8K 360° footage. With a single quick switch, it transforms into a first-person view action camera with an ultra-wide shot. It also becomes a great tool for vlogging, making filming easier and bringing fun and creativity to every shot. In single-lens mode, the DJI Osmo 360 captures sharp, flat video in 5K/60fps with a wide 155° ultra-wide shot. In Boost Video mode, you'll get a wider 170° field of view and perfectly smooth footage in 4K at 120fps. In single-lens mode, you can easily switch between the front and rear cameras⁵ without interrupting the recording.

Compact and Powerful Outdoor Camera

The DJI Osmo 360 is surprisingly small and weighs only 183 grams. An advanced layered design has allowed the manufacturer to fit two large 1-inch modules for 360° sensing into the outdoor camera. The DJI Osmo 360 has a quality battery that lasts for up to 100 minutes of continuous recording² in 8K/30fps. When recording 360° video at 6K resolution, you can achieve up to 190 minutes of recording⁶. The outdoor camera has 105GB of integrated storage, so you won't need to carry memory cards and can rely purely on it. The magnetic quick-release system¹⁰ is fully compatible with accessories from the Osmo Action series, and thanks to the standard 1/4" thread, you can easily attach it to tripods and other equipment. In combination with the invisible selfie stick⁴ and the adjustable quick-release adapter, you can quickly switch between immersive 360° shots and single-lens vlogging. For high-quality audio recordings, the outdoor camera has its own built-in microphones, but you can also use a direct connection with two DJI microphone transmitters without needing a receiver, ensuring studio-quality sound recording with an ultra-high sampling rate. Furthermore, when the built-in microphone's Audio Backup function is activated, the DJI Osmo 360 simultaneously records ambient sounds, which adds a more authentic atmosphere to the final video.

Practical Features for Using the DJI Osmo Camera

When controlling the Osmo 360 camera, you can also use gestures; the device responds instantly, even when you're wearing five-fingered gloves. The action camera also supports voice control. By connecting to Bluetooth headsets like SENA or VIMOTO¹¹, you can wirelessly record audio while also using voice control during your ride, which you'll appreciate when recording motorcycle vlogs or cycling. You can add data from cycling or motorcycling devices (e.g., Apple Watch, Garmin, or other devices in FIT format) directly to the video in the form of a clear dashboard, showing viewers a professional level of detail while enriching the shot with important information. With the SnapShot feature, you can start recording with a single press. Additionally, you'll be able to quickly switch between 360° and flat video modes.

DJI Osmo 360 Allows for Easy Post-Production

With the intelligent stitching of footage in DJI Studio, you can easily combine 360° videos. The software can automatically fine-tune complex textures such as paving stones, railings, or staircases, ensuring a smooth and natural-looking result. DJI Mimo and DJI Studio use, among other things, advanced algorithms to lock onto people, objects, animals, or vehicles and track them in full 360° recordings. The GyroFrame function will, in turn, significantly simplify your work with composition. Simply move your phone to find the ideal angle, which you then lock. Afterwards, just one tap is needed to export the video. The DJI Osmo 360 automatically recognises the camera's orientation during filming and allows you to easily switch to a selfie view during editing, making it easier for you to create engaging content.
