Dobexil H is indicated for the treatment of hemorrhoids, which may present with swelling, pain, burning, itching or bleeding, and is also used for painful skin tears and itching around the rectum.
What are hemorrhoids?
Hemorrhoids are swollen and inflamed veins in the rectum and rectal canal. Hemorrhoids often occur near this area and can be caused by a number of factors. Hemorrhoids can appear when the veins in the rectal area are under pressure or stress. This can happen when sitting on the toilet for a long time, with frequent diarrhea or constipation, during pregnancy or with heavy physical exertion. Genetic factors and aging can also contribute to the development of hemorrhoids. There are two types of hemorrhoids: internal and external. Internal hemorrhoids form inside the rectum and can be accompanied by bleeding. External hemorrhoids form around the anus and can be sensitive or painful. The risks associated with hemorrhoids include pain, itching, bleeding when defecating and discomfort when sitting. If they are not treated properly or are too large, they can lead to more serious complications.

Dobexil contains medicinal substances calcium-dobesilate, which corrects the impaired function of the walls of hemorrhoidal veins, increases their resistance, reduces the formation of swelling, and lidocaine, which locally numbs the mucous membrane and skin, thereby reducing itching and pain.

Dosage
Push the rectal ointment into the rectum using a plastic applicator or apply it around the rectum 2 times a day (morning and evening). Before each treatment, and especially after a bowel movement, the area around the rectum should be carefully washed or better showered with cold water.
Ingredients
The active substances are Calcii dobesilas monohydricus 40 mg, Lidocaini hydrochloridum monohydricum 20 mg in 1 g of ointment.

Use the product for no longer than 14 days. It is not intended for children and adolescents under 15 years of age. Dobexil H ung is an over-the-counter medicine for external use, it contains calcium dobesilate and lidocaine. Read the package leaflet carefully.
