Psyllium is a soluble fibre obtained from the purified seed husks of Indian plantain (Plantago ovata). It grows in Iraq, Pakistan, Australia, and especially in India, where the raw material is of the highest quality. This is precisely where we import it from for you. Dr. Popov's Psyllium increases its volume in the digestive tract by up to 40 times. The gel that is formed absorbs excess liquid and, by simple swelling (mechanical force like a piston), pushes harmful waste products out of the tract. A clean body and a daily healthy stool are the foundation of good health.
Ingredients
Psyllium Plantago ovata (purified husks of Indian plantain seeds, highest possible quality), edible gelatine.
Recommended Dosage
Taking Dr. Popov's Psyllium fibre in capsules is very convenient. Simply take 2–3 capsules 2–3× daily and wash them down thoroughly with at least 250ml of water or another liquid – herbal tea, fruit juice, or similar. The maximum daily dose is 9 capsules.
Warning
Dr. Popov's Psyllium must be taken at least 1 hour apart from other medicines and food supplements. Psyllium fibre is a food supplement. Dr. Popov's Psyllium is not addictive. It is free from added sugars, chemicals, and colourings. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose of psyllium fibre. It is not intended as a substitute for a varied diet. The product is not intended for children under 6 years of age. Keep out of reach of children.
