TILT rocking mechanism

The backrest tilts backwards and forwards together with the seat. It can only be locked in the upright (seated) position. You control it with the lever on the right side; just push it out to the side to activate the function. When you want to stop rocking, return to the upright seated position. Push the right lever back in, and the rocking will stop. The rocking tension, or rocking force, is adjusted according to your weight. You can control this with the rotary knob under the seat. The backrest angle, ranging from 90–135 degrees, is controlled by a lever on the right side of the backrest, just like in a car seat. 90° for work, 135° for relaxing. The height is adjusted according to your height and leg length. Ideally, your feet should be flat on the floor for most of the time, with your knees bent at a 90–120 degree angle. This is controlled by the lever on the right side.

Chair and seat height – press the lever down lightly

Chair assembly:
After unpacking, insert the castors into the arms of the base (the five holes in the bottom of each arm are for the castors). Insert the gas lift into the hole in the base, after first making sure it moves freely. Mount the mechanism to the underside of the seat (place the seat upside down to make it easier to handle, preferably on a mat or a table with a raised surface). Mount the armrests to the underside of the seat. Attach the backrest to the seat. Place the seat with the backrest and armrests onto the gas lift with the base and castors. Check that you have tightened all the screws sufficiently. Done, you can take a seat.
