Compared to the previous version, the standard resin 2.0 has a lower shrinkage rate, which significantly reduces the volume shrinkage of the material during the photocuring process. This ensures much higher printing accuracy and stability. Using high quality pigments and photoinitiators, Standard Resin 2.0 produces realistic models with a smooth and clean finish. Resin Elegoo also boasts a very low viscosity, allowing for faster printing with shorter exposure times and minimal defective prints. Elegoo standard resin is ideal for a wide range of applications, from printing miniatures and figures for board games to creating various industrial parts and components. The Resin 2.0 standard requires UV light with a wavelength of 405 nm.

The Elegoo Standard Resin 2.0 outperforms its predecessor especially with improved photo-cured material, which causes minimal shrinkage, resulting in much higher print accuracy. Thanks to the improved formulation, Elegoo resins have only a very light odour that is neither pungent nor unpleasant. The Resin V2.0 standard is compatible with most LCD/DLP printers on the market (requires 405 nm UV light).
