A classic cooker hood can become an aesthetically pleasing addition to any modern kitchen. The Elica CRUISE IX/A/90 chimney hood not only prevents the formation of unpleasant steam when cooking but it also illuminates the working area. Its elegant stainless-steel design adds style to virtually any kitchen. Together with steam, it extracts grease, which will not settle on nearby kitchen items. The hood is equipped with an aluminium grease filter and simple 3S + B touch control. For the recirculation mode, a carbon filter needs to be purchased. Instead of the exhaust mode, when recirculated, the air is filtered only through the carbon filter and then returned to the room.
The hood boasts special Long Life Filters, capturing and filtering odours with high efficiency and a service life extended for three years. It is washable and is even suitable for the dishwasher (intensive program with a minimum temperature of 65°C is recommended). You can dry the filter thoroughly in a preheated oven at 100°C. As a bonus, the device offers anti-grease filter signalling and a temperature alarm.
The vapor extractor can handle temperatures to a certain extent above the boiling surface, which makes it unnecessary to ventilate it as much. This will please you especially in the winter months when the ventilation is wasting the heated energy. In addition, you will appreciate that the hood will even extract the smell from prepared meals.
