The ELICA NIKOLATESLA ALPHA BL/A/78 induction hob was designed by ELICA's own Fabrizio Crisa. It stands out with its built-in extractor hood. Made from very high-quality safety glass, it is easy to operate using the ergonomic touch control panel. The extraction system with a central fan reliably captures vapours. It communicates with the hob, receiving information from the cooking zone to automatically set the optimal extraction level. It is available in both extraction and recirculation modes. The hob has a timer; once the time is up, the cooking zone switches off and an audible beep sounds. Using the touch controls, you can easily set timers independently for multiple cooking zones.

The ELICA NIKOLATESLA ALPHA hob is ideal for kitchens without a conventional hood, as it comes equipped with its own extractor which offers 4 speeds and an intensive mode. It achieves an extraction rate of 205–455 m³/h, and 580 m³/h in intensive mode. It effectively extracts vapours even during demanding cooking sessions, with a noise level of 43–67dB(A). The extractor hood features a grease ALU filter. It can also be used in recirculation mode with the KIT0167756 or KIT0167757 recirculation kits, which are not included.

The ELICA NIKOLATESLA ALPHA hob offers 4 cooking zones with a power output of 1.2–3kW. It comes with several practical features to make your cooking easier. With the Autocapture function, the extractor hood automatically identifies the active cooking areas, setting the power level accordingly to ensure the optimal balance between noise, performance, and energy efficiency. Once you finish cooking and the cooking zones are switched off, the extractor system adjusts by gradually reducing extraction to remove residual vapours and odours. The Warming Mode function keeps prepared food warm while other items are still cooking. You can use it for low-temperature cooking, warming milk, cream or sauces, and for simmering homemade stocks.
Easily pause your cooking on the ELICA NIKOLATESLA ALPHA hob
If you need to leave the kitchen and interrupt your cooking, simply use the Stop & Go function, which switches off all active cooking zones and saves the current power settings for each zone in the hob's memory. The ELICA NIKOLATESLA ALPHA hob features Pot Self-Detection technology, which automatically detects cookware on the cooking zones. Upon detecting the cookware, the controls on the control panel light up, letting you set the desired power level.
The ELICA NIKOLATESLA ALPHA hob offers safe operation
The ELICA NIKOLATESLA ALPHA hob ensures safe use. Especially in households with children, you will appreciate the Child Lock function, which guarantees that the cooking zones or extractor cannot be switched on. You can activate this function when the hob is on. However, the cooking zones and extraction will remain off. In recirculation mode, the hob uses the Long Life Filter++ carbon filter, which ensures over 80% filtering efficiency. It offers a lifespan of up to 3 years and can be regenerated. Regenerating it every 2 to 3 months with a simple procedure maintains its properties and effectiveness.
