In case you find yourself in one of these situations, now is the right time to take ellaOne®. This small pill can delay ovulation by a few days during the current cycle, thus preventing fertilization of the egg.

Take your tablet as soon as possible

You should take ellaOne® as soon as possible after unprotected intercourse, but no more than 5 days (120 hours). This is because the earlier you take the tablet, the more effective it is.

Usage of EllaOne 30 mg 1 tablet

Treatment consists of one tablet taken orally as soon as possible, but no later than 120 hours (5 days) after unprotected intercourse or after failure of the contraceptive method used. The tablet can be taken at any time during the menstrual cycle. If vomiting occurs within 3 hours after taking the tablet, another tablet should be taken. If menstruation is delayed or signs of pregnancy are present, pregnancy should be ruled out before taking the tablet.

Storage

Store at temperatures up to 25°C. Keep in the original packaging to protect the product from moisture. Keep the blister in the box to protect the product from light.

Contraindications

Read the package insert carefully. It is recommended that you discuss your questions about problems related to the use of emergency contraception with your doctor. Pregnancy: ellaOne is not intended for use during pregnancy and should not be given to any woman who suspects or knows she is pregnant Breastfeeding: Ulipristal acetate is excreted in breast milk. The effect on newborns/children has not been studied. The risk to breastfed babies cannot be ruled out. It is not recommended to breastfeed for one week after taking ulipristal acetate as an emergency contraceptive. It is recommended to express milk during this week to continue to stimulate lactation.
