High-contrast image with 4K Enhancement technology
The projector for lit spaces uses 3LCD display technology, which produces an image with a high brightness of 8000 ANSI lumens in standard mode. For operation in a more economical setting, the brightness drops to 5600 ANSI lumens. The dynamic contrast ratio of 5000000:1 helps to render details in both dark and bright parts of the scene. 4K Enhancement technology increases the sharpness and detail of the image beyond the native WUXGA resolution. The projection size can be smoothly adjusted with a screen size range from 50" to 500".
Laser light source
At the heart of the projector is a laser light source, which eliminates the need for regular lamp replacements. Its lifespan reaches 20000 hours at standard power and extends to up to 30000 hours in the energy-saving ECO mode. This solution reduces operating costs and eliminates service interventions. The operating noise of the fan is 36dB, dropping to a quiet 26dB in ECO mode. The device's power consumption is 450W in normal mode and reduces to 330W in the economy setting. The integrated 10W speaker provides sound for smaller spaces.
Flexible installation and image correction
The projector offers versatile installation, either on the ceiling or free-standing on a table. With its short throw projection ratio of 1.35–2.2:1, it can be placed closer to the projection surface. The projection distance ranges widely from 1.49m to 24.4m. The 1.6× optical zoom and manual keystone correction of ±30° both vertically and horizontally make it easy to precisely adjust the image geometry without losing quality.
Epson EB-L890E projector connectivity options
For connecting signal sources, there are two HDMI inputs with HDCP 2.3 support, an HDMI output, and a professional HDBaseT interface. Network management is handled via the Ethernet port or RS-232C. Integrated WiFi provides wireless content sharing from mobile devices and laptops with support for AirPlay 2 and Miracast.

Native resolution vs. maximum resolution
