The Eurocase UPS EA200PLUS EVO2, an 850VA backup power supply with Line-interactive technology, offers reliable protection for your electronics. It provides an apparent power of 850VA and a real power of 480W. Thanks to the built-in 12V/8Ah lead-acid battery, it keeps connected devices running even during a power outage, providing a backup time of 60 minutes at full load. The Line-interactive UPS is controlled by a microprocessor that efficiently manages operation and responds to changes in the grid. A USB communication interface with supplied software is used for management via a computer. The compact design, measuring 275 × 180 × 100mm, allows it to be placed on a desk or mounted on a wall. Passive cooling keeps noise levels below 25dB, making it suitable for quiet working environments.

Power, topology and efficiency

The Line-interactive technology with microprocessor control automatically stabilises the input voltage within a range of 230V AC +/-25% without switching to the battery. In normal mains mode, it delivers a pure sine wave output. When switching to battery power, it generates a modified sine wave. The efficiency of the Eurocase UPS EA200PLUS EVO2 backup power supply is 70% at half load, and it operates at 65% efficiency at full load. It maintains the output voltage within a tolerance of 230V AC +/-10%, which protects sensitive electronics from grid instability.

Management, cooling and operating conditions

A USB communication interface connects the Eurocase UPS EA200PLUS EVO2 backup power supply to a computer for advanced management. The included software for Windows systems is used to monitor the UPS status and configure automatic system shutdown. The design uses passive cooling, which keeps noise levels below 25dB, making the power supply suitable for offices or homes. The device operates in temperatures from 0 to 40°C and at a relative humidity of 0–90%.

Battery and connectivity

The Eurocase UPS EA200PLUS EVO2 backup power supply uses a 12V lead-acid battery with a capacity of 8Ah. The battery provides a backup time of approximately 20 minutes with a 100W load. It takes approximately 8 hours to recharge the battery to 90% of its rated capacity. A total of four Schuko (CZ) type sockets are available for connecting devices. Two of these are fully battery-backed, while the other two provide only surge protection. Integrated protection also safeguards a telephone line or modem connection via the RJ-11 ports.
