What does Flor de Caña 7 taste like?
As the name suggests, Flor de Caña 7 is aged for a full 7 years in white oak barrels after distillation. Crucially, it matures in natural conditions without air conditioning or technology, simply in the Nicaraguan heat and Pacific humidity. This makes Flor de Caña 7 wonderfully full-bodied. The aroma is captivating, with notes of caramel and wood. But the real magic happens on the palate. An orchestra of almonds, oak wood, a hint of tobacco, and sweeter dried fruit. The experience concludes with a long, slightly alcoholic finish. Flor de Caña 7 is ideal on its own and excellent in drinks.
