FOMEI 20-60x80 Foreman ED (S), Spotting scope

FOMEI 20-60x80 Foreman ED (S), Spotting scope
The FOMEI FOREMAN® Spotting Scope is equipped with ED glasses with minimal light scattering and delivers sharp contrast images and excellent viewing comfort thanks to its large objective lens and high transmission prisms. The telescope has a straight eyepiece. Its advantage is especially apparent at shooting ranges or when observing sports matches, when the observer ideally maintains horizontal contact with the object. In this case, it is essential to use a stable tripod.

Key features of the FOMEI 20-60x80 Foreman ED (S), Spotting scope
- Powerful optics equipped with ED glasses
- Double focusing
- Direct eyepiece body, filled with dry nitrogen
- Extra light lens
- Exceptional edge sharpness and image resolution
- Fast (coarse sharpening) and slower (fine sharpening)
- Ideal for ornithology, hunting or sport shooting
Optics for detailed observation
The main advantage of the FOREMAN ED series lies in the high light transmission anti-reflective SMC layers. The combination of a large objective lens, SMC layers and ED glass components guarantees FOREMAN binoculars exceptional viewing capabilities. The resolution of the optical system ensures accurate observation of details at long distances.

Dual Focusing function
The Spotting scop FOREMAN also includes a "dual focusing" function. The main advantage lies in the combination of fast (coarse sharpening) and slower (fine sharpening). The focus selection function is an invaluable aid, especially when observing at long distances where precise focusing is required.

Waterproof binoculars with DSLR support
The waterproof body filled with dry nitrogen allows Spotting Scopes to be used in any weather. It prevents unwanted dew. The binoculars are supplied in a protective case. It is possible to mount a DSLR (SLR) camera on the 20-60x80 FOREMAN ED using an adapter and the appropriate T2 reducer (Canon, Nikon and others).

Extra-low dispersion technology
In the construction of the lenses, the so-called. ED skel (Extra-low dispersion). ED glasses are materials with very little dispersion. When light passes through any material, it refracts at an angle that is proportional to the properties of the optical material (refractive index). Since the refractive index of a material varies for different wavelengths of incident radiation, white light is decomposed into a spectrum as it passes through the material. The white image is thus decomposed into a set of colour images that have different sizes and focus positions. It is therefore not ideally possible to focus an image without the colour "rainbow" fringing, which then has a major effect on the lens' luminosity and edge sharpness. FOMEI uses materials with extremely low dispersion (ED glass) in the construction of lenses, i.e. the dependence of the refractive index on the wavelength. As a result, colour defects are minimised and virtually ideal image display, luminosity and edge sharpness are achieved.
