The french press offers a very simple method of preparing coffee. Hot water is poured over ground coffee, which is then left to brew for a few minutes. The strainer is then pushed down through the brew, filtering the grounds from the coffee. In addition to ease of use, french presses are also relatively inexpensive compared with other coffee makers.
