Fresubin Renal is a complete high-calorie (2kcal/ml) liquid nutrition with reduced protein and electrolytes for the dietary management of malnutrition or the risk of malnutrition-related diseases. It is particularly suitable for patients with chronic kidney disease or non-catabolic forms of acute kidney injury. It can be used as a supplementary or sole source of nutrition, taken orally or administered via a tube. It contains fish oil, carbohydrates from modified starch and isomaltulose. The drink is low in lactose, and is fibre and gluten-free.

Fresubin Renal is Particularly Suitable for Patients
- With chronic kidney disease or reduced kidney function
- With non-catabolic forms of acute kidney injury
- In a pre-dialysis state
Dosage
Must be determined by a healthcare professional according to the patient's needs. As a supplement to a normal diet, take 2–3 bottles (800–1,200kcal) daily. For total nutrition, take 5 bottles (2,000kcal) daily. Use for at least 2 weeks.
💊 Instructions for Use
Store at room temperature. Once opened, consume within 24 hours. It tastes best chilled but can also be served at room temperature or warmed (to a maximum of 50°C).
- Shake well before use
- Sip slowly between main meals as a snack or before bed as a second supper
- Combine sipping with a favourite activity – such as reading the newspaper or watching your favourite show.
- If administered via a tube, do not mix with medication.
- Not for parenteral (intravenous) use!
