The Frient Intelligent Smoke Alarm smoke detector continuously monitors indoor areas and detects the outbreak of a fire. Its optical sensor reacts to the presence of smoke in the air and triggers an alarm in case of danger. The device works via a central unit on the Zigbee 3.0 wireless protocol and sends status information directly to the connected system. The integrated siren emits an acoustic signal of 85dB at a distance of 3m, ensuring the alarm is audible throughout the building. It is powered by a single 3V CR123A battery, which is included in the package. The battery status monitoring function alerts the user in good time when the power cell needs replacing. Wireless communication takes place on the 2.4GHz frequency with a radio output power of +8dBm and a sensitivity of -98dBm.

The sensor sends the measured data to the central unit at a regular reporting interval of every 5 minutes. The device operates reliably in environments with a relative humidity of 10% to 95%.
