Mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera Fujifilm X-E1 is a portable compact cameras, but also achieves the image quality of digital SLR cameras. Revoluční snímač přístroje Fujifilm X-E1 si vzal inspiraci z kinofilmu a dotvořil obrazovou kvalitu tak, že dokáže vytěžit maximum ze snímání ve vysokém rozlišení. Využívá sadu barevných filtrů, která díky náhodnému uspořádání (inspirovanému přirozeným uspořádáním zrn halogenidu stříbra) minimalizuje výskyt moaré a dalšího zkreslení barev, takže nemusí být využíván filtr low-pass, který vede k nežádoucí ztrátě rozlišení. Snímač CMOS X-Trans je díky tomu schopen plně zachytit nefiltrovaný obraz a procesor jej pak může rychle a maximálně precizně zpracovat.
