Nintendo Switch serves also as a home console
The Nintendo Switch is a revolutionary home console consisting of three parts. The first part is the actual computing unit of the console, equipped with a 6.2" display. The second part is the docking station for the main unit. Thanks to its HMDI connector, it can transmit Full HD image to your TV. The last part are the innovative, removable Joy-Con controllers.
Multifunctional Joy-Con controllers
The Joy-Con controller can independently detect motion and feature advanced vibration feedback. Thanks to the integrated IR camera, they can even detect distance and shapes, so you can look forward to fresh and innovative motion-controlled games.
Local multiplayer anywhere
The controllers can be used in many different ways. Either plug in the Joy Con-Grip device to make it a traditional console controller, or use them separately to play in multiplayer mode.
Comfortable trackpads
In handheld mode, the Switch is a fun little device with easy controls that brings gaming experience to a new level. Better yet, you can purchase additional accessories in several different colours.
Experience lots of fun with Nintendo Switch
The Nintendo Switch is ready to transport you into a world full of brand new titles from almost all genres. Developers from all over the world have confirmed their support and these include such famous heavyweights as Activision, Electronic Arts, Take-Two Interactive, Ubisoft, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and major Japanese publishers.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Get ready for the greatest adventure in the series to date. The Legend of Zelda has defied the conventions and gone open world, but it still remembers its roots. Explore the vast world and discover over 100 shrines packed with puzzles as well as weapons, clothing and other equipment.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
The legendary gang is back and ready to take the karts for a spin. Play with up to eight friends in local multiplayer. The game features all the favourite tracks and characters from the Wii U version including all the DLC tracks and characters, plus a number of new competitors.
1 2 Switch
The first game made by Nintendo that lets you compete in fun activities while looking the other players in the eye instead on the TV screen. From Wild West style shootouts to copying each other’s dance moves, this title is designed to showcase the wide creative possibilities the console offers.
Multiplayer online services
The console is planned to support online multiplayer via WiFi. Following the example of its competitors, Nintendo is offering paid subscription that will be free for a set time period. Gradually, it should let you invite friends to multiplayer battles, set up gaming sessions, and interact with other players. There are also plans to provide some older games for free to the subscribers.
Battery
The Nintendo Switch battery can last for up to 6 hours when running less demanding games. For the graphically intensive titles, expect to get about 3 hours.
Display
The multitouch screen spans 6.2 inches—ideal for a great portable gaming experience.
Internal storage
The console has 32 GB of storage, though some of it is reserved for the OS. You can expand the console’s capacity to 2 TB using microSDHC/SDXC cards.
