PlayStation 5 Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition

PlayStation 5 - Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition

Sony and Insomniac Games have come up with a stunning design for PlayStation 5 to celebrate the release of the highly anticipated sequel to Marvel's Spider-Man. Experience the next generation of Spider-Man gaming with the introduction of a black symbiote (Venom) that will present one of the toughest challenges our two Spider-Men will face in Marvel's Spider-Man 2!

Clash of the Opposite Pole

On the front cover of the PS5, a mysterious symbiote winds its way darkly closer to the Spider-Man icon, as if eager to devour the last spark of bright red glitter.

Venom wins

On the back of the PS5 console, the mysterious symbiote is firmly attached and completely wrapped around the white Spider-Man icon in his advanced Insomniac outfit.

Accuracy and sensitivity with PlayStation5 Spider-Man 2

With Tempest 3D audio on PS5, you can accurately identify the sounds of bioelectric forces, dangerous enemy attacks and the bustling traffic of Marvel's New York City.

You feel the challenge

With the DualSense wireless controller, you'll be immersed in the action of swinging through the web with adaptive triggers that let you feel every movement with immense authenticity. Haptic feedback and sensitive vibrations will enhance Peter Parker's new symbiont abilities and Miles Morales' evolved bioelectric skills.

Control for supremacy

According to the designer at Insomniac Games, the design draws inspiration from the dark symbiote that has seemingly taken over the console and controller. Yet the colour red still glows beneath its grasping tendrils, symbolising the different ways players will experience the symbiote's takeover in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. This design evokes the constant pressure and drive for domination, either within the players themselves or within the game.

Manufacturer information

Sony Corporation is a Japanese company founded in 1946. Its headquarters is located in Tokyo. Its beginnings were humble. The first product sold under the Sony brand was a transistor radio. It was those radios that played a pivotal role in the company's expansion in the 1960s and the world quickly began to associate Sony products with a reliably stellar price-performance ratio.

In the 1970s, Sony was severely affected by the global economic crisis. Many analysts considered the company effectively defunct and could see no future for it. However, they underestimated the famous Japanese perseverance and courage. The crisis was not a disaster for Sony; on the contrary, it served as a launching pad to even greater heights. The company recovered and soon changed the media landscape with the development of the CD and later the DVD. In the early 1990s, Sony achieved another major success with the introduction of the PlayStation gaming console. It is the gaming consoles that best represent the intersection of the three key areas in which the company operates today – electronics, video games, and the entertainment industry.
