Helicopter Gunship D. E. X. brings a modern helicopter combat simulator inspired by the legendary helicopter games of the 90s. In the cockpit, you'll experience a combination of accessible "sim-cade" style and more sophisticated flight simulation that works with realistic helicopter physics, authentic weapon systems and tactical operations. Reboxy Helicopter Gunship D. E. X. The Indie Edition is released as a physical boxed version designed in the spirit of the great PC Big Box editions of the 90s and was created in collaboration with developer Jimmy Arcade. The controls have been optimised for gamepads, but you can easily remap them for HOTAS systems, joystick or standalone levers.

SACLOS, Laser or RADAR targeting systems inspired by real military technology are available to locate, mark and destroy targets. Reboxy Helicopter Gunship D. E. X. The Indie Edition offers direct control of the helicopter and weapon systems, with your co-pilot helping to identify enemies and visually scout the area. Depending on your chosen technological era, you will use, for example, wire-guided TOW missiles, laser-guided missiles or modern radar-guided weapons.

A large part of the content is procedurally generated missions that make each deployment different. In Helicopter Gunship D. E. X. Set up custom combat operations including Strike, SEAD, Search & Destroy, Recon or Transportation missions. The deployment uses a deployment point system that maintains a balance of individual helicopters and weapons regardless of the type of operation. Reboxy Helicopter Gunship D. E. X. The India Edition takes you over three vast 40×40 km maps covering the desert, Norway and central Libya. You can customize your flying with several control models, from simpler variants to more realistic simulations.

First and third person perspective
In the fleet of Helicopter Gunship D. E. X. you'll find Apache machines, Lynx, Gazelle, Viper, Kiowa Warrior or Hind, with most helicopters offering several different versions. You can switch between the first-person cockpit view and the external third-person chase camera at any time. Reboxy Helicopter Gunship D. E. X. The Indie Edition also sees further content expansion during the Early Access period, which will see the arrival of the Blackhawk, Chinook, Mi-8 and Cheyenne. The final version is to offer a wide selection of Western and Eastern combat helicopters and the ability to fight for both BLUFOR and REDFOR units.
