Giffard Orgeat Syrup is a modern interpretation of the traditional almond syrup, which was formerly prepared from barley extract and almonds. Today, it is created by combining water, sugar and almond emulsion, thus retaining its typical creamy structure and rich flavour. The syrup has a milky white colour with a subtle coconut hue, a scent of bitter almonds, frangipane and freshly crushed nuts, and a delicately fruity, full and complex taste, with a balance between sweetness and aroma. Made from 100% pure beet sugar from French sugar beet from the north of France, it guarantees natural sweetness and a clean flavour profile. It is excellent in coffee, milkshakes, dessert cocktails and lemonades, or as a classic ingredient in cocktails such as Mai Tai or Moorish.
