SteamTech
Maximum hygiene and a longer lifespan with UltraClean technology
Give your clothes and your washing machine the best care with the innovative UltraClean system, which combines two highly effective steps for perfect cleanliness. A special drum cleaning programme uses the power of water and steam for deep disinfection, while the self-cleaning drawer automatically removes detergent residue. This effectively prevents the build-up of bacteria and the development of unpleasant odours before they can even form. The result is not only hygienically clean laundry, but also stable performance and a significantly longer lifespan for the GORENJE WG494A11 washing machine.
Saves your wallet and our planet
With the GORENJE WG494A11 washing machine in energy class A, you get much more than just perfectly clean laundry—you get real savings. This appliance is designed to consume up to 10% less energy* than the highest standards require. In practice, this means significantly lower electricity bills and a smaller environmental impact.
*Based on internal testing. Selected models with optimised wash parameters achieve up to 10% greater energy efficiency than required to meet the energy class A limit according to Regulation (EU) 2019/2014.
GORENJE WG494A11 with a self-cleaning drawer
With the SelfCleaning Drawer feature and a smart spraying system, all residue from powder, gel, and fabric softener is automatically rinsed away during every wash cycle. This keeps the GORENJE WG494A11 washing machine's drawer sparkling clean without any scrubbing or effort on your part. The system also works efficiently without consuming any extra water. Simply load the laundry, start the machine, and enjoy the perfect result.
Intelligent EasyDosing
The unique EasyDosing system ensures that liquid detergent stays securely in its place in a separate chamber until the GORENJE WG494A11 washing machine actually starts washing. This applies even if you use the delayed end function—the detergent won't enter the drum prematurely. With the four-chamber system, you have powder and gel detergent neatly separated without having to fiddle with mechanical dividers.
Quick wash programmes for when you're short on time
If you're short on time and need to wash your clothes quickly, use fast programmes like Power 39', which lets you wash a normal daily load of laundry in under 40 minutes. If you pair the washing machine with a tumble dryer featuring the FastDry 49' programme, you can have your clothes completely washed and dried in less than 90 minutes. For maximum flexibility, there's also the QuickWash function, which can shorten most standard programmes by up to half.
GORENJE WG494A11 washing machine with SteamTech function
Say goodbye to fabric softener! An additional steam treatment at the end of your chosen programme significantly reduces creases, odours, and bacteria. Your clothes will be perfectly clean, less creased, and softer.
Smart washing with WashControl technology saves your wallet and the environment
Whether you're washing a full drum or just a few items, the intelligent WashControl system precisely detects the weight of the load and instantly adapts all settings. This enables you to achieve up to 68% energy savings, reduce water consumption by 45%, and shorten wash cycles by up to 21%. All this while maintaining 100% washing performance. With the GORENJE WG494A11, you can wash ecologically, efficiently, and with minimal costs, without having to compromise on the result.
Control the washing machine via ConnectLife
With the ConnectLife app, the WG494A11 washing machine adapts to your pace, not the other way around. You have the whole process in your pocket—start a cycle from work, and your phone will notify you when it's done or when you're running low on detergent. If you're unsure which programme to choose, the smart WashingAssist assistant will guide you step-by-step. You can also give the washing machine voice commands and monitor your exact water and electricity consumption in clear graphs.
Ultra-quiet operation from a powerful motor
The GORENJE WG494A11 washing machine has a powerful inverter motor that provides better cleaning results, saves energy and produces less noise.
ShoeWash – a programme designed specifically for washing footwear
Finally, a programme designed specifically for your shoes. The ShoeWash programme gently cleans footwear using a special wash cycle designed for washing shoes. The programme is available in the ConnectLife app and is not found on the washing machine display. What's more, when using the ShoeWash Holder* accessory, your footwear remains stable, washing is quieter and you avoid the unpleasant banging of shoes in the drum. The result is clean footwear ready to be worn again.
*The ShoeWash Holder accessory is sold separately.
