So that you won't need to hold on to it all the time, you can attach it to the strap that is included. When it is not currently in use, the lens can be protected using the included coverslip. Comes with a case to keep the binoculars from being damaged when travelling. A cloth is included for easier cleaning. An eyepiece cap is included.
