Several mechanisms ensure safety. In addition to protection against motor overheating and paper overload, the device is equipped with a safety feature that prevents it from starting if the shredder head is not correctly placed on the bin.
The maximum continuous running time is 2 minutes, after which a 30-minute break is required for the motor to cool down.
