How to keep the battery in good condition
The battery is partially charged when it leaves the factory, yet its capacity and performance are below 100%. Therefore, to reach the optimum performance, it is recommended to repeat the charge and discharge cycle at least 3 times at the beginning. The capacity of the battery reduces over time when it is continuously connected to a power source, so we recommend that you occasionally disconnect the device from the mains. When not used, store the charged battery at a dry place, check it and charge it every six months.
What damages batteries?
One of the most common causes of battery degradation is being depleted and inactive for a longer period of time. Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 60°C. If the battery is exposed to temperatures below 5°C, move it somewhere else and charge it at the room temperature. Only use the battery in the devices for which it is intended. Also be careful that the battery is not subject to a short circuit or higher discharge currents. Protect it from mechanical damage, chemical substances and humidity.
