The PointTeQ HSS spiral drill bit enables fast drilling in metal thanks to the PointTeQ tip design. The self-centering tip, which prevents deflection, allows quick and easy drilling starts. The higher drilling speed generates less heat and causes less wear. The PointTeQ tip stays sharp and ensures long-lasting durability. The drill is suitable for use on bolt holes and guide holes in alloy and non-alloy steel, non-ferrous metals, steel, cast iron and plastic. It has a low risk of breakage, especially for drills with a diameter of less than 6 mm, because the tip has a highly elastic body. The black oxide coated groove allows for fast dirt removal. It features two blades and a double-spiral U-shape for efficient drilling and chip evacuation. The drill has a centering tip and is made of HSS steel. PointTeQ HSS spiral drill bits are manufactured according to DIN 338. The drill is type N (groove angle) with a 135 degree tip. It has a cylindrical shank with CYL clamping system (shank diameter matches the drill diameter) and is designed for use with portable and bench drills.
