You can use the fork wire for fine and precise cutting of thicker polystyrene, while the U-shaped blade is ideal for carving non-through cavities in foam boards. The soldering attachment can then be used as a pen for writing text or drawing on polystyrene, or it can be used for soldering plastics or for soft soldering (after fitting the copper tips). A practical stand is also included for attaching the cutter to a table or other surface.
Easy Battery Recharging via USB-C Cable
The EXTOL PREMIUM 8891504 polystyrene cutter is equipped with a 2Ah Li-ion battery, which can be repeatedly recharged without reducing its capacity. In addition, the Li-ion battery has a very low self-discharge rate, so it will stay charged for several months when stored properly. It takes 3–4 hours to fully charge the battery using the included USB-C cable (depending on the discharge level). The cutter, along with the charging cable and other accessories, is stored in a durable and easily portable plastic case.
