FISKARS Splitting Axe L - X32

The Fiskars X32 L splitting axe is designed for processing large logs over 30cm in diameter. Its double-hardened forged steel head penetrates wood with high efficiency. The lightweight FiberComp™ handle reduces strain during work and resists damage. The non-slip SoftGrip™ surface, along with the hooked end of the handle, contributes to a secure grip while chopping. A protective sheath is also included.

Powerful forged steel head

At the core of the axe is a 1700g splitting head made of double-hardened forged steel. This construction gives it the necessary strength for working with hardwood. The blade has a special friction-reducing coating, making it easier to pull out of a log after a strike. The surface treatment also protects the steel from corrosion and extends its life.

FiberComp™ handle for a secure grip

The handle is made from the lightweight composite material FiberComp™. Its low weight helps you generate a higher swing speed. For a confident grip during work, the handle features a non-slip SoftGrip™ surface that won't slip even in wet hands. Safety is further enhanced by the hooked end, which prevents the axe from accidentally slipping out of your hands. There is a hanging hole at the end of the handle.

Fiskars X32 axe for large logs

The axe's total length of 81.5cm is optimised for splitting large logs over 30cm in diameter. With the longer handle, you can generate considerable force and swing speed, which is key for effectively splitting even the largest pieces of wood. A protective sheath is included, which protects the blade during storage and transport.
