GARDNERS Vermiculite, 1 l

Gardners Vermiculite, 1 l is a versatile natural substrate additive enriched with minerals. Its properties make it suitable for aeration, drainage and soil moisture retention. At the same time, it absorbs large amounts of water and nutrients, which it then gradually releases back to the plants. Nutrients must be supplied in the form of fertilisers or, for example, lignohumate. High water absorption then reduces the likelihood of rot and mould in plants. Vermiculite contains a large proportion of minerals (magnesium, potassium, calcium, silicon, manganese, etc. ), and therefore also acts as a growth activator on plants and promotes root growth. The different grain sizes of vermiculite allow better air access to the roots. Vermiculite is completely odourless and odourless and fully replaces up to 3 additives in the substrate (sand, perlite, peat).

Use:
Houseplants: 30% vermiculite, 70% substrate
Plant pruning: vermiculite can be used alone or mixed 1:1 with the substrate
Seed germination: vermiculite can be used alone or mixed 1:1 with the substrate
Hydroponic growing: vermiculite can be used alone or in a 3:1 ratio (3 parts vermiculite : 1 part sand) mix with sand, pebbles or expanded clay
