Gusta Garden HARRY HERBS Coconut substrate is a high quality coconut soil made from compressed coconut fibres, which is 100% peat-free and is the ideal choice for sowing and growing herbs or vegetables. The organic substrate made from renewable raw materials does not compact when watering and allows optimal air circulation around the roots and promotes healthy plant growth. Thanks to its structure, it provides herbs and young seedlings with ideal conditions for development and at the same time contributes to sustainable gardening. The 400 g pack is easy to prepare, and by adding 3 litres of hot water, the substrate swells to a volume of 5 litres, which is just enough to fill a HARRY HERBS pot.

Pure natural substrate
Gusta Garden HARRY HERBS coconut substrate is the ideal choice for sowing and planting herbs and vegetables, as it provides plants with optimal conditions for healthy growth. It is made from natural coconut fibre, contains no fertilizers and is 100% peat free. It is biodegradable and its structure ensures a high ability to retain nutrients and water. Thanks to careful processing, the substrate is completely clean, free of weed seeds, insects, mould spores and pest larvae. However, to ensure optimal nutrition, it is advisable to add the necessary nutrients, such as natural fertiliser BIO sheep wool or long-term fertiliser Undergreen BIO, which promote healthy growth and a rich harvest.
How to use the substrate?
Using coconut substrate in a HARRY HERBS pot is simple and effective. First, place the pot in the HARRY HERBS base and place a cultivation mat on the bottom to help distribute moisture evenly. Then add the compacted coconut soil and finish the installation by placing the liner holder with the filling hole. To activate the substrate, pour approximately 3 litres of hot water at 60 °C into the HARRY HERBS and allow the coconut soil to soak in gradually. Within approximately 15 minutes, the substrate will swell to the desired volume and remain airy. Once the soil is ready, you can sow or plant the herbs and vegetables of your choice in the pot. For maximum growing success, nutrients can be added if necessary in the form of a suitable fertiliser, such as organic or long-lasting type, so that the plants have enough nutrients for healthy growth and a rich harvest.
