The HEISSNER UV lamp is an effective solution for keeping the water in your pond clean and healthy. With an output of 18 W and a power consumption of only 22 W, it is ideal for ponds up to 20,000 litres. The UV lamp effectively sterilizes the water and reduces the appearance of algae, thus ensuring an optimal environment for your fish and plants. Its installation is easy thanks to universal hose connections and wall brackets. To ensure long-term and safe operation, the lamp is equipped with a built-in safety circuit breaker. The optimal functioning of the HEISSNER UV lamp is ensured by using it correctly. In the summer months (May to September), only switch it on for a few hours a day, depending on the water clarity. From October to April the UV lamp is usually not needed. When you first start it up, let it run for a maximum of 4 hours a day for a week to prevent oxygen depletion in the water.
