PATTEX Repair Express 48 g

PATTEX Repair Express is suitable for bonding bathroom and kitchen accessories. You can use it to glue holders, handles, hangers and soap dishes. It can also be used for reconstructing damaged hinges, fixing handles, door stops, repairing stairs, chairs and other furniture or sealing joints in water pipes and heating systems. PATTEX Repair Express adhesive is ideal for a wide range of materials, like wood, metal, ceramics, plastic, glass, plaster, Cork, stone and brick. After kneading, the mass is ready for use. Cures in 5 minutes. Provides high strength and fully cured sealant, after 24 hours, can be ground, polished, drilled, machined and otherwise surface treated.

Use:
It is not necessary to wear protective gloves when working. Glued surfaces must be dry, free of dust and grease. Alcohol or acetone can be used to clean them. If possible, it is recommended to roughen both surfaces over the entire surface to improve adhesion. We recommend wearing protective rubber gloves when working. Cut off the desired piece of sealant with a knife or scissors and remove the plastic film from the part you will be applying. Leave the rest of the sealant covered. Thoroughly knead the mass as a modelling mass until it becomes a uniform white colour. The processing time is a maximum of 3 minutes after mixing the ingredients. Apply the mass according to the method of use: When gluing, apply sealant to one of the surfaces and bond the glued parts together. For larger pieces, use more pieces of putty. When sealing, apply the compound to the joint or hole and smooth it before curing. When reconstructing, knead the sealant as necessary and smooth the surface before curing. Remove any residue immediately, for example with a scraper. After curing, the material can only be removed mechanically.

Notice:
Not recommended for bonding PP, PE and PTFE (Teflon®).
