The bacterial preparation contains a mixture of selected bacterial cultures that reduce the formation of algae and water bloom on the principle of fermentative nutrient decomposition. It ensures the balance of the aquatic biotope, stabilizes the pH to a neutral value, helps to break down ammonia and reduce the occurrence of fecal bacteria (coliform bacteria, thermotolerant coliform bacteria, enterococci).

Recommendation:
Treat at repeated intervals from March to November when the water in the habitat is above 10°C. For better effectiveness of the product, it is advisable to apply the entire monthly dose and to apply the next proportionally divided doses after approximately 14 days. Apply pointwise to the filtration and to the water tank in the form of an active bio-culture. In case of a massive occurrence of algae, especially filamentous algae, it is recommended to first use a product based on active oxygen Lakus oxy. After two to three days, apply the humic-based product Lakus bioactivator and within half an hour apply the bacteria Lakus aqua.
Applications for aquariums:
2.5 g per approx. 100 L of water. Perform the treatment once a month.
Applications for lakes, ponds and fountains:
1 kg of product per fire tank up to max. approx. 1000 m2. Further treatments with 0.5 kg of the product once every 14 days from May (resp. since the filling) 6 to 8 times per summer season.
Applications for ponds, recreational and retention reservoirs:
max. 5 kg of product per 1 ha of land. Treat once a month from the time when the water temperature is above 10°C until October (also oriented by water temperature). We recommend to divide the monthly dose in half and apply twice a month.
Preparation of active bioculture and custom applications:
Mix the given amount of the product in the optimal amount (2-4 L) of stagnant water, stirring occasionally, let it activate for 15 - 20 minutes ( no longer! ) and pour into the water tank.
Practical recommendations:
If the algae is already strong, we recommend combining Lakus aqua with Lakus oxy. The degree of success in maintaining water quality depends on ensuring at least minimum water circulation, filtration capacity and pond depth above 120 cm, the amount of planted flora and partial shading (mimicking the natural aquatic habitat).
