The mix contains pine bark and sphagnum moss, which ensure optimal root aeration while retaining necessary moisture without the risk of waterlogging. The substrate does not contain any added fertilisers, allowing you to tailor nutrition to the specific needs of your plants.

Composition
The SOILY ORCHID™ substrate respects the specific needs of epiphytic orchids, which do not grow in ordinary soil in the wild. The base is pine bark, which creates a coarse and airy structure. This helps to drain excess water away from the roots and prevents them from rotting. The second component is sphagnum moss, which retains an appropriate level of moisture to prevent the roots from drying out.
