Steinbach Comfort 50 sand filter

The Steinbach Comfort 50 sand filtration system will keep the water in your above-ground or in-ground pool clean, for pools up to 33m³. With a circulation performance of 6m³/h, it efficiently removes impurities. The filtration system is suitable for both fresh and salt water, and you can use either classic sand or filter balls as the filtration medium. A 7-way valve with multiple functions makes operation easy, enabling complete water management. An integrated pre-filter protects the pump from damage.

Advanced control with a 7-way valve

Compared to standard filtration systems with six-stage control, this model offers extended options. The robust lever on the 7-way valve lets you easily set one of seven operating modes: filter, backwash, rinse, drain, circulate, winter, or closed. This allows you to perform complete maintenance of the water circuit without needing to reconnect hoses or carry out other complex procedures.

Pump protection and easy maintenance

The filtration system is equipped with a large pre-filter that prevents coarse debris, such as leaves or insects, from entering the pump. This not only protects the pump from damage but also reduces the load on the main filtration medium. The filter vessel itself is connected to the valve with a solid clamping ring, which you can loosen without tools. Thanks to the large top opening of the vessel, changing the sand is quick and easy, which is recommended every 1–2 years for above-ground pools.

Flexible use for different pools

You can use the Comfort 50 filtration system for both above-ground and in-ground pools. It is designed to work with fresh and salt water, where the maximum salt concentration must not exceed 5g/L. The device operates reliably in water temperatures up to 35°C. For the filtration medium, you can choose either silica sand or modern filter balls, which offer high efficiency.
