The Homematic IP HmIP-SWSD-2 wireless smoke alarm is the ideal solution for smart and safe living. It reliably detects dangerous smoke fumes and immediately alerts all occupants of your home. It detects gases and smoke particles in the monitored area using a scattered light photoelectric sensor. It has a built-in siren and emergency LED lighting. A fixed battery with a lifetime of up to 10 years ensures long-term operation without the need for frequent maintenance. The smoke alarm itself monitors the battery status and gives you peace of mind when the battery needs to be replaced. It is certified according to ČSN/EN 14604.

Easy integration and smart connectivity

The Homematic IP smoke detector can be easily integrated into existing Homematic IP systems. Allows automatic connection of up to 40 detectors to create a comprehensive security network. Using the Homematic IP app, you can divide the detectors (HmIP-SWSD-2) into up to eight groups to ensure protection for every area of your home. A smoke alarm isn't just a standalone device - it's part of a wider Smart Home ecosystem. In the event of an alarm, the detector can activate other devices, such as roller shutters that automatically clear escape routes or smart sockets that turn on lights and make it easier to find your way around. More than just a fire detector

The Homematic IP smoke alarm can also be used as a siren for other types of alarms, such as burglar alarms. In combination with motion sensors or window sensors, you can create a comprehensive security system. The function can be easily set up via the Homematic IP app. In the event of an alarm, the integrated LED emergency lighting is automatically activated to ensure visibility even in the event of a power failure. The function makes it easier to leave the house safely and increases overall safety.

It goes without saying that both the CE certificate and approval according to ČSN, EN 14604:2006 and CPD. Designed for installation in new buildings according to Decree 23/2008 Coll. Decree on technical conditions of fire protection of buildings (in amendment no. 268/2011 Coll. ).
