HOYA 52mm PRO 1D DHMC

The HOYA PRO 1D DHMC UV filter belongs to the category of multi-purpose photo filters suitable for everyday photography, which means it is not necessary to remove it from the lens at all. Its use allows you to achieve better image clarity and more accurate colour balance. The UV filter absorbs ultraviolet radiation, which often causes “haze” or otherwise unclear photographs. It is suitable for both black-and-white and colour photographs. Another advantage is that it serves to protect the lens. With the filter on, it is more difficult to scratch the lens or otherwise damage it.
Filters with DHMC coating excel in their ability to minimise reflection on the filter surface, which leads to the reduction of lens flare and ghosting.
