Chaga (Chaga) - a powerful adaptogen that will support you in the fight against everyday stress!
The effects of Chaga have been known in traditional Eastern medicine for hundreds of years, where it has been used especially for digestive problems. Chaga is one of the natural adaptogens due to its content of biologically active substances. Adaptogens are substances, of herbal or fungal origin, that help the body adapt to stress and improve physical and mental resilience. They also increase the ability to cope with changes in the environment.
These substances act on various systems in the body, including the nervous, endocrine and immune systems, and help maintain homeostasis - that is, the internal balance of the body.
This vital mushroom contains 2 types of biologically active substances: terpenic substances - Betulin and betulinic acid, functional polysaccharides - Betaglucans
Chaga and digestion
With centuries of proven effect, Chaga has been used in traditional Siberian medicine for digestive ailments. In Chinese medicine, it is used in digestive problems to aid digestion. It is also used for constipation. Thanks to betulinic acid, Chaga has positive effects on the gastric mucosa and helps in prevention of gastritis and ulcers. In the gut, it nourishes the bacteria of the microbiome and increases the number of "good" bacteria. It also contributes to the nourishment of the liver and pancreas. Interestingly, in one study it was shown that Chaga can affect the microbiome and thus improve the condition of ulcerative colitis.
Chaga and cancer - the influence of beta-glucans
In addition to terpene compounds, Chaga also contains functional polysaccharides - beta-glucans, which are also used in Western medicine, especially to support immunity and as a complementary treatment for cancer. Chaga has also been studied in scientific studies in relation to various types of cancer, including colon, breast, lung and brain cancer. Notice: Cancer treatment must always be guided by an oncologist. We do not recommend relying solely on home therapy with natural supplements. Vital mushrooms can only be used as an adjunct to cancer treatment!
How strong is Hrotlife Chaga Tincture?
Hrotlife Chaga is a tincture in which you will find a double 8:1 extract of wild Chaga. This ratio means that for 1 g of extract, 8 g of mushroom fruit was used. In a daily dose, you get a much higher amount of biologically active substances into your body compared to capsules and with 6 times more absorption.
What does Chaga contain?
Chaga contains high amounts of vitamin D2 (a precursor of vitamin D3), which is especially important for us in the autumn and winter months when we suffer from an acute lack of sunlight, which stimulates the production of vitamin D3 in our body. In addition, it has a full spectrum of B vitamins, including vitamin B12, which will be especially appreciated by vegetarians and vegans, as apart from meat, B12 is very sporadically found in diets. Of the micronutrients, it is rich in: Zinc - helps maintain the health of hair, nails and skin. Potassium - helps regulate blood pressure, contributes to the normal function of the nervous system. Iron - contributes to the formation of red blood cells Calcium - contributes to the proper functioning of digestive enzymes. Magnesium - relieves fatigue and contributes to the health of the nervous system.
Betulin and betulinic acid - superlatives from birch bark
Chaga grows primarily on birch trees and actively absorbs substances contained in their bark, which include terpenes such as betulin and betulinic acid. Scientists from the Institute of Translational Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine at Palacký University in Olomouc are focusing on researching these terpenes and their potential anti-cancer effects. This research may provide new insights into the benefits of Chaga in the prevention and treatment of cancer, expanding its importance in natural medicine.
Where does Hrotlife Chaga come from?
Where does Hrotlife Chaga come from?
Chaga tincture comes from wild Chaga, sustainably harvested in the pristine nature of the Estonian taiga. It is processed using the double extract method (alcohol, water), which allows the extraction and preservation of the greatest amount of biologically active substances, thus maximizing its effects. The entire process is done by hand in small batches, with emphasis on the purity of the mushroom and the exceptional quality of each bottle. For our tinctures we collect Chaga fruits older than 15 years. In general, Chaga "ages like wine" - the older the fruit, the more active substances it contains. Furthermore, the further north the Chaga grows, the more stimulated it is by the environment and the more active substances it contains. The name "Siberian Chaga" is often used for the supposedly higher quality Chaga, but the Estonian taiga is located at about the same latitude as Siberia or Alaska, so Chagas from these northern locations are equally potent.
How to take Chaga?
The main advantage of the tincture is its easy and pleasant use. You don't have to worry about large capsules getting stuck in your throat. Simply squeeze the dropper twice and suck in half the daily dose. We recommend taking 2 such droppers daily. You can drip it under your tongue or add it to your favourite drink. Due to its low alcohol content, it has a mild, slightly bitter taste caused by the biologically active terpenes betulin and betulinic acid.
