The black ICY BOX IB-3740-C31 external enclosure offers space for four SATA III hard drives in 2.5" or 3.5" format. The enclosure is easily powered by the included 60W power supply. It connects to your computer via USB 3.1 Gen 2, enabling transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s. A USB-C connector is included. Each drive is recognised individually, so all HDDs/SSDs can be accessed separately. The enclosure is supported by both Windows and macOS systems. The LED display allows you to see at a glance which hard drive is being accessed or if any errors have occurred. It provides information on hard drive activity (read/write), fan settings, and sync status. The synchronised standby mode also saves energy. An 80mm fan (with 3 temperature control levels) ensures sufficient cooling for the hard drives, optimally dissipating the heat generated by the enclosure.
