Construction and lighting properties
The base of the light is a metal frame with a powder-coated finish. Light from the integrated LED source is evenly diffused by a satin opal plastic diffuser. This ensures the illumination is glare-free and looks natural in the room. The IP20 rating means it is protected against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5mm in diameter, but offers no protection against water. The light is designed for direct connection to the mains electricity supply with a voltage range of 220 to 240V.
