Production process

The production process is basically no different from the classic No. 7. Long, slow filtration through a 3 meter high layer of maple carbons will ensure absolute purity of taste and the typical slightly sweet profile, thorough rest in tanned oak barrels will add a rich taste and rich caramel colour. And here comes the moment that decides if Jack gets to you in single-barrel form. The experienced Master Distiller carefully selects the barrels, the contents of which pass the demanding test. These are then bottled and bottled by hand as Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select. On each bottle you will find the number of the barrel, the layer in which it lay during maturation and the date of bottling.

Aroma and taste

Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select has a robust character and a higher alcohol content than his colleagues. After the smell, you will feel distinctly woody notes of tanned wood, corn and grain with a slight smoky touch, spices and caramels. The taste is full, dense and pleases with sweet cereal notes, spices with a predominance of anise, nuts and a touch of tobacco. The finish is pleasantly long with distinct cereal tones accompanied by very light citrus. Mixing this single-barrel delicacy would be a shame. It is best to enjoy it just at room temperature or on ice. So good!
