For all fans of fast cars and even faster data transfer, LaCie and Porsche have collaborated to create the LaCie 2.5" Porsche Design P'9223, a unique external drive with an iconic design and quality components that will last for years. You can use the drive at every opportunity, confident in its unsurpassed performance using the latest technology.
Luxurious Design
The fact that the P'9223 series hard drives are not like standard external hard drives is clear from the materials used. The enclosure is completely made of sturdy aluminium to give your sensitive data protection that is unparalleled. In addition, rounded corners, high-polish bevelled edges and a sandblast finish combine to form the distinctly Porsche Design contemporary style.
Fast, Economical, Safe
The LaCie Porsche Design external hard drive has a very fast, modern USB 3.1 Type C interface , but allows backward compatibility with older USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 connectors (an adapter is included). The big advantage of the USB-C connector is that it can also act as a power connector. During backup, you can charge your USB-C laptop battery at the same time.
Perfect Security
Besides the sophisticated design and high-speed performance, the manufacturer also thought about security, so all your data is protected from unauthorized access using a special application that allows you to set up a user password. This will ensure that no unauthorized person can get into your files.
