Laktoleraza Tablets

One tablet contains the enzyme lactase 4,500 ALU - lactase units. The enzyme lactase improves lactose digestion in people who have difficulty digesting lactose. Lactose intolerance is variable, so you should ask for more information about the role of the enzyme lactase in your diet. Lactase (ß-galactosidase) is an enzyme that breaks down milk sugar - lactose into simple carbohydrates D-glucose and D-galactose, which, unlike lactose, are directly digestible. Lactase is produced by villi in the small intestine. The highest lactase production is in infancy. Then it naturally decreases. Insufficient production of the enzyme lactase in the small intestine of humans can be primary - due to a natural decrease in the production of the enzyme lactase with increasing age (irreversible state) or secondary - due to gastroenterological problems (reversible state) or congenital. Lactose, which does not break down in the small intestine, is moved to the large intestine, and bacteria in the large intestine are acted upon by bacteria, producing lactic acid, hydrogen, carbon dioxide and methane. Hydrogen is absorbed, enters the lungs, from where it exhales. Other substances irritate the intestinal wall.
