You can use it as a standard binocular for observation at 8× magnification, but it can also measure distances and angles in the field up to 1500 meters. Rangefinder and its use

This mode is called second (remote) target priority mode. The first (front) target priority mode, which is used to detect foreground targets, works in the same way.
