NoFrost function

Touch & Swipe display
Your LIEBHERR SIFNdi 5188 obeys your every touch. The Touch & Swipe display makes operating your freezer intuitive and very easy. Simply select functions like 'SuperCool' with a tap and a swipe on the colour display. You can regulate the temperature just as easily. When you're not actively using the display, it shows the actual temperature.
IceTower
Your party will never run out of chilled drinks thanks to the IceTower and its ice cube supply of up to 5.7kg. An ice cube scoop and a pull-out shelf on telescopic rails give you convenient access to scoop up ice cubes. A special insert tray lets you store smaller quantities of ice while still storing frozen food below. The drawer next to it offers storage space for deep-frozen foods.
IceMaker with fixed water connection
With the IceMaker's fixed water connection, water is supplied directly from the mains pipe. The MaxIce function lets you produce up to 1.5kg of ice cubes per day. You can adjust the amount of ice stored very easily and exactly as needed using the flexible ice bin divider.
VarioSpace
If you need to safely store a multi-tiered ice cream cake for a summer party, it's no problem for the LIEBHERR SIFNdi 5188 freezer. With the VarioSpace solution, you can easily remove the individual compartments – and voilà, you have an extra-tall storage space.
SoftSystem

LED freezer compartment and IceMaker lighting
The IceMaker lighting makes the ice cubes look beautiful. The LED lighting activates automatically when you open the door. The sight of the illuminated ice cubes is enjoyable and will make you crave a drink with ice. When you open the drawers in your Liebherr freezer, you will be delighted not only by the sight of your food, but also by the attractive lighting. This is provided by powerful, long-lasting LEDs. The lighting makes it even easier to see the contents and is also an unusual design element.
Freezer tray
If you want your frozen berries to be fresh and crisp after thawing, and not look like a compote, then the freezer tray is ideal. The fruit and herbs spread across the plastic tray freeze quickly without being squashed. You can easily hang the freezer tray in the freezer drawer and then remove it completely.
Other features of the LIEBHERR SIFNdi 5188 built-in freezer
Language setting – the variable language setting enables this. When you start up the appliance, simply select one of twelve languages on the display and operate your Liebherr in your desired language
EnergySaver – when activated, the standard temperature increases by two degrees. Your Liebherr will then need even less electricity – and your food will stay optimally fresh
SuperFrost – when activated, the freezer compartment increases its cooling power, so the temperature remains constant even when you put unfrozen food inside. The SuperFrost function also saves energy. If you do not switch the function off manually, it deactivates automatically after 65 hours
Display lock – reliably prevents unintentional changes to your freezer's settings. You can, of course, also simply deactivate the display lock
BottleTimer – activating the function ensures extra-fast cooling; as soon as the bottle reaches the optimal temperature, your Liebherr will remind you via the app to take it out of the freezer
Door alarm – if the appliance door is left open for too long, an alarm will sound (flashing light and warning tone). You decide what 'too long' means; depending on the setting, the door alarm is triggered after one, two, or three minutes
SabbathMode – in SabbathMode, all freezer lighting is switched off, as are all audible signals and the display. SabbathMode deactivates after 80 hours.
Temperature alarm – reliably warns you as soon as the temperature reaches a critical level. You can not only hear the alarm, but also see it. The display shows how far the temperature has risen. You can, of course, switch off the alarm manually
