Green tea (Camellia sinensis) contains health-promoting polyphenolic compounds such as epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), a potent anti-aging phytonutrient. Decaffeinated green tea extract provides more of these active ingredients than the equivalent of several cups of green tea. This 98% green tea extract is standardized to provide a large amount of antioxidants, using the most important green tea polyphenol. In addition, powdered green tea extracts have been shown to be 60 to 90% better absorbed into the bloodstream and much more bioavailable than drinking green tea.

Recommended dosage
The recommended daily intake is one (1) capsule without food or as recommended by a physician. Each serving contains a small amount of caffeine (max. 3.6 mg). Since one cup of decaffeinated tea contains at least 9 mg of caffeine, the amount of caffeine in this supplement is unlikely to produce a stimulating effect.
