Glutathione is a small tripeptide composed of three amino acids (glutamate, cysteine, glycine) that the human body naturally produces in the liver and other tissues. It is present in cells at millimolar concentrations and acts as an intracellular antioxidant: it is involved in redox balance and the recycling of oxidised forms of vitamins C and E. It is a physiological part of the body, not a foreign substance.

Active ingredients
- L-glutathione (200mg) — reduced form: The formula contains L-glutathione in its reduced (non-oxidised) form, which is ready for direct use by the body. Part of it is absorbed in the small intestine, and part is broken down into individual amino acids that serve as building blocks for endogenous synthesis.
- N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) (200mg): Cysteine is the limiting amino acid for the body's own synthesis of glutathione. N-acetyl-L-cysteine is an acetylated form of cysteine with higher stability and bioavailability. In this product, it serves as a precursor.
- Vitamin C (200mg): Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is an antioxidant for which health claims are authorised in the EU by Regulation (EU) No 432/2012. In glutathione metabolism, it acts as a partner in mutual redox recycling.
