How to list products on Alza.cz using an XML feed

Steps 1–7 below can be skipped if you're using an API client — see Using the AlzaTrade API.

1. Download the XLS template for your target category from the Trade Portal.

2. On the "Data" sheet of the downloaded template, you'll find all parameters required for the XML product feed. Bold-marked parameters are mandatory. You can't create products without them.
3. he "Data" sheet also includes the category number for your listing (always in the first column).
4. The "Numeric data" sheet contains all possible values for the parameters mentioned above.
5. The "SEO prefixes" sheet provides the specific Alza product identifier = SEO prefix.
6. Create your feed for Alza listing based on the table data and the XML format described below.
7. When filling in data, follow the guide here: Guide for Filling Listing Tables.
8. The XML feed can include multiple categories for listing, and each must be marked with the correct number and contain the required parameters.
9. The XML feed must include all mandatory elements listed below.
10. Once your product feed is ready, follow the instructions here: Converting Feed to Table (GUIDE).

Individual XML feed elements

PARAMETER_2015 / Supplier product code (required)

• The product's unique identifier in your internal system (we use this ID for product availability synchronisation).
• This element appears only once per product.

PARAMETER_5131 / Description specification (optional)

• A text description of the product without HTML tags.
• This element appears only once per product.

PICTURE_01 / Images (mandatory)

• URLs of product images with white backgrounds.
• The number of occurrences depends on the available images (PICTURE_02, PICTURE_03, etc.).

PARAMETER_5135 /E-shop price in CZK, including VAT (required)

• The selling price including VAT.
• This element appears only once per product.

PARAMETER_0004 /Manufacturer (required)

• The manufacturer's name (without Ltd., Inc., etc.). Maximum length: 30 characters including spaces.
• This element appears only once per product.

MAIN_CATEGORY_ID / Main category ID (required)

• The selected Alza category number (found in the first column of the data sheet – see above).
• This element appears only once per product.

PARAMETER_1933 / EAN (required)

• Each product must have a unique EAN code. Duplicate codes will be returned for correction. If you don't have an EAN code, we recommend obtaining one officially (do not create your own). EAN codes are also used for matching in online advertisements (e.g., Google Ads); duplicates will prevent the product from being listed.
• This element appears only once per product.

PARAMETER_0005 / SEO prefix (required)

• Alza's generic product identifier, found in the XLS table (e.g., Mobile Phone, Watch, etc.).
• This element appears only once per product.

PARAMETER_7152 / 7152 / 7151 / Packaging dimensions (required)

• Always provide shipping package dimensions in centimeters.

PARAMETER_7153 / Weight including packaging [kg] (required)

• The product's weight including packaging. Always provide in kilograms.

PARAMETER_26133 / Safety data sheet (required)

• If you enter the value "YES," you must attach the safety data sheet links for the respective sales countries here:

• Upload the safety data sheet as a .pdf file via URL. You may use our portal for document uploads.
• If you enter the value "NO," you declare that this legal obligation does not apply to the product.

PARAMETER_xxxx (required)

• The parameter name found in the first row of the XLS table (see above), e.g., PARAMETER_0021 or PARAMETER_23727.
• Values can be found on the "numeric codes" sheet in the XLS table (see above), e.g., red, blue, etc. If a parameter has multiple values, each requires a separate entry (PARAMETER_xxxx.02, PARAMETER_xxxx.03)
• In the XLS template, parameters highlighted in bold are required. Others are optional, but filling them improves product searchability in the e-shop, leading to higher sales. They also enable more detailed product descriptions.

SAFETY_ALERT (required/optional – depends on product)

• "Safety warning" parameter – specific warnings, instructions, or alerts for safe product use, if the product's nature and type require such information.

MANUFACTURER_CONTACT (required)

• Information about the EU-based manufacturer, importer, authorised representative, or distributor. This field is mandatory for all products.
• Key details to include:
• Name of the organisation responsible for the European market
• Registered address
• Contact – e-mail, phone number, or a link to a website that includes a contact form

PARAMETER_12943 / Composition (required/optional – depends on product)

• The product's full composition.
• Check the "SEO-Prefixes" sheet in the XLS template to verify if composition is required (1=required).

DOCUMENT_01 / Document link (manual, energy label, etc.) (optional)

• Upload the manual's URL in .pdf format. Only attach documents relevant to the product.

DOCUMENT_COUNTRIES_01 / Document language/country (optional)

Specify the country the document is intended for and the language it is written in.

PARAMETER_1934 (optional)

• The product code from your internal system.
• This element appears only once per product.

PRICE_COMPARER / Price comparison (optional)

• Link to the product on Heureka.cz, Zboží.cz.
